Field Trip in the Community

In a society as complex as ours; it is essential that we have strong, outspoken leaders that will help improve our lives. Leaders need to be influential, and they need to be able to communicate well with others. Without the ability to get along and talk with others, it will not be possible to influence and direct others in the right direction. These are just some of the qualities that the leaders we visited at Central American Resource Center (CARECEN), Mama's Hot Tamales Café and the Eco-Village had. I was very impressed with the amount of dedication and passion that these leaders had for the members of their community. We as members of this society should take the time to learn from these leaders so that we may also get involved in the empowerment of our community.…
