The Life of a Good Man
Nick Caraway, the narrator of The Great Gatsby, introduces himself as a thoughtful and moral human being. He recites the advice his father gave him earlier in his life: "Whenever you feel like criticizing anyone just remember that all the people in this world haven't had the advantages you've had" (Fitgerald 1).
