Aim: To see how castles developed through time
<Tab/>I think the motte and bailey castle must have been built first as it is wooden and stone and brick wouldn't have been used at that time for building castles. It would have been much quicker and much easier to build a motte and bailey than build a stone castle. It would have rotted and the wood could be burnt.
