The author of this book is Gabby Schuster- a German writer. She was born in 1948, in Algoja, Germany. Her first publications were written while working as an editor in a local newspaper. She has been an editor in youth magazines such as ‘Popcorn’ and ‘Girls’ for many years. She has been an independent writer since 1981. She mostly writes school novels. She has written ‘Song for Denny’, ‘Radio flirt’, ‘Sweet lies’ and many others.
The main character of this novel is Sophie. She is a 15-year-old girl who spends her summer holidays with her older sister Viviana who left home when she was 18 to start a new life by herself. Now her sister is 24 years old. She is working in Advertising agency.
