The topics outlined above are all controversial ethical issues in the everyday living of Christians. They are all subject to debate and each person has their own opinions. In relation to the euthanasia issue, despite the victim wishing to take their own life in order to end their suffering, does not mean that they are disrespecting the gift that God has given them. Although some people may think that abortion is like murder, if the mother believes that the quality of life for herself and the potential newborn will deteriorate then this act is justified. Everyone is an individual and should have the right to express their compassion for another person of the same sex without fear of what others might think of them.
