Christmas is a Christian holiday that celebrates the birth of Jesus Christ. The full Christmas season is from the last Sunday of November (when the Advent starts) until the Epiphany, January 6 (the celebration of the Wise Men coming to the Christ child). Noone knows the exact date of Christ’s birth, but most Christians think that he was born on December 25. The first mention of December 25 as the birth date of Jesus was in A.D. 336 in an early Roman calendar. On this day, many people all around the world go to churches, where they pray the God and thanks him about sending Jesus Christ to the Earth.
