George Orwell stated that, "all people are equal but some are more equal than others." This statement has been an ideology through many civilizations through the history of mankind, and has prevailed through to modern society. Although in theory all persons are equal, many people subconsciously place prejudices upon people of different gender, race, religion, socio-economic background, appearance and sexual preferences.
I believe this statement holds a strong relevance to our society we live in today. …
