Smog, acid rain, the greenhouse effect, and ozone depletion are some of the effects that have resulted from air pollution. It is a major factor in causing humans to get ill. Tuberculosis, bronchitis, heart and chest diseases, asthma and cancers can all be traced to chemicals in the air.
To sum it all up, a common problem is overpopulation, but there are also many other environmental predicaments. More people use more cars, need more firewood, drink more water. This causes more air pollution, more land ruined, and more water to disappear. Therefore, pollution control is necessary on an international level in order to protect our environment.
