Latvijas Republikas proklamēšana

There is only one day in whole year, which all the Latvians welcome with pleasure of festivity and sense of solidarity in their hearts, and this day in full name is called the day of independence proclamation of Republic of Latvia. In this day in our hearts we all understand that the main things on the Earth are prosperity of our souls and peace between all the nations and states.

From the history we know, that already in the first Latvian General Festivity of a Song 133 years ago as congratulation sounded Baumaņu Kārļa “Dievs, svētī Latviju!” At that time Latvians still didn't have their own state, foreigners from Germany and PSRS used to tell us, how to live, but waking up of national self-confidence had been already started, and already there was no one, who could stop it.
