I tell you about the Mezontne Palace.The history of Mezotne palace started in 1795 when the Russian Empress Catherine II gave Mezotne manor for ever in charge of Charlotte fon Liven who was the tutor of her grandchildren. The construction of the palace started in 1797 under the leadership of George Adam Berlic. The project, an architect of Italian origin, was used as a base. A. Berlic just added some side annexes. The construction of the palace was finished in 1802.After the death of Charlotte fon Liven in 1828 the palace was inherited by her son John who returned to Mezotne after his military service in the Russian Army.…
