This film is not meant for an easily impressionable or over emotional people (or children for that matter) because it contains various acts of violence towards women, children and anyone for that matter, even a dog almost gets chocked to death.
The film ends tragically, Chris volunteered to help one of the veterans and he decides to take him for a ride in his pickup truck, the scene of him getting shot isn’t shown, but you understand what has happened. After the black screen, a short text appears of the date of his death, the real funeral of Chris Kyle is shown, and some of his family photos.
