EMPEROR NERO DRUSUS CLAUDIUS GERMANICUS
Rome was not built in a day. There is more to this statement, as regards its contextual meaning when the name "Nero" is mentioned. Just like the United States of America of today, Rome was a very powerful place cum nation. It had a whole lot of domain under her. In fact the Romans ruled and dominated the world. The Romans had powerful and eloquent Emperors, who ruled and lead the nation to height, and in the long list of Emperors, it would not go down well with history if the name "Nero" is not mentioned; and I am definitely sure Christians will find such list despicable. We will come to understand what this means.
Nero was born on the 15th of December, AD 37 to a distinguished Roman. Originally born Lucius Domitius Ahenobarbus, circumstances lead to the transformation of this name, as we shall soon see. However, after the death of his father whom Nero was to inherit his wealth, his mother was banished to the Pontian Islands, and Nero's inheritance was taken from him as well as seized. With the death of the former Emperor, and the rise of a new one - Emperor Claudius Drusus Germaincus, Nero's mother Aggripina the Younger found favour in his sight and was eventually married by the new Emperor. …
