Suicides are not normal but I would describe them as common. I do not believe that suicide is wrong. However, I speculate that suicide can be prevented.
Suicides among young people nationwide have increased dramatically in recent years. Suicide is the third leading cause of death for 15-to-24-year-olds, and the sixth leading cause of death for 5-to-14-year-olds. These figures are shocking spell out that some measures must be taken to reduce suicide rates.
Especially, teenagers feel a great amount of stress, confusion, self-doubt, pressure to succeed, pressure to fit in, financial uncertainty, and other obstacles while growing up. Divorce in the family, the formation of a new family with step-parents and step-siblings, or moving to a new surrounding can be very unsettling and seem devastating.
