This DVD marked the transition between the second album until the release of “Simple Plan”. Up until that point, the band had already reached 7,000,000 records sold worldwide. “Taking One for the Team” is the band biggest album yet. It has 14 tracks and collaborations like Jordan Pundik, from New Found Glory, and the singer Juliet Simms. The process of composing and recording was also the one that took the longest, starting in 2013 and ending in late 2015. This record is produced by Howard Benson (Kelly Clarkson, Motorhead, Skillet and The All-American Rejects).
For the promotion of this album, Simple Plan already confirmed several shows in Europe, one performance in a festival in Japan, and said they intent to come back to a few countries in the new months, including Brazil. Simple Plan’s career has over 15 years, 5 studio records, 2 DVDs, over 7 million albuns sold and several awards all around the world.
