Theatre Analysis

This weekend I saw one brilliant light – hearted comedy in the Latvian National Theatre. I went to see it with my friend and we really spent a wonderful, enjoyable time, watching the play, which has aroused wide interest and almost unanimous praise from the critics. The comedy was called – Tartif. And it was a strikingly effective and entertaining play. It was written by the French playwright Moljers. Before I chose this play, I read some critical articles on this performance. And it really attracted my attention, first of all because I realized that it could have been very enjoyable, because it was written by French playwright, and French artists always make something different from the others, second, because I have seen some actors acting in other plays, so I was interested to see them again, and third, because I am fond of comedies. …
