Also available to some of the explorers in Augusta, particularly the ones on the Special Emergency Reaction Team is the opportunity to train closely with the county's SWAT team in advanced building searching, clearing, and warrant service techniques. Through Close supervision these explorers learn what it is like, physically, emotionally, and psychologically to be in those life or death split second decision scenarios.
In all the Law Enforcement explorer posts are invaluable to the training and development of youths that want to be in the career field of Law Enforcement when they finish their initial schooling. As a good solid base and whether it is high school or college, this initial entry training will be built on and expanded into making these youths reach their potential as law enforcement officers and as citizens of the world.
