Vaira Vīķe-Freiberga and Uncertainty

Although Vaira Vīķe-Freiberga has been appreciated by majority of Latvia’s society, while being president she made many unpopular and criticised both actions & decisions in politics. First of all, there was no clearance about the way she became a president. Nobody knew her because most of her lifetime she had spent abroad. Secondly, there are lots of contradictious attitudes towards her activity in domestic politics.
