ACTION: Performance Management Reward
IMPLEMENTATION and OUTCOMES
Achievements in organisational performance, i.e. the successful implementation of system changes will become part of the managers' performance related payments. Also innovative and appropriate ideas for the improvement of organisational performance will be rewarded. This will show that is it within the manager's responsibility to adopt a management style which motivates employees and leads to increased performance. It will also motivate fellow managers to check their actions in place and to improve where there are weak points.
ACTION: Cultural Incorporation
Within the description of actions I have explained at different points how these actions are designed to become part of the organisational culture, of the 'way we do things at CompX'. The key here is my own behaviour and how I reason and communicate my actions. The justification and communication towards the top management and within my own management level will be crucial.
