Why is a Christian a Friend of Israel?

Here are a few reasons...
#1 Biblically Because...
There is not a greater friend of Israel than Jesus. Jesus said, "If you have done it to the least of these my brethren you have done it unto me!" (Matt 25:40) Furthermore, a Christian believes in the authority of Scripture and thus embraces these facts: 1) God gave to the nation of Israel the land of Canaan (Genesis 12:1-3; 15:18-19; 21:12); 2) God promised that he would bring the Nation of Israel, after being dispersed throughout the world, again into the land of Israel - a prophecy that was miraculously fulfilled when Israel declared Statehood in 1948 (Read Ezekiel 36 - 39); 3) The Bible foretells that the Kingdom of God will be ruled on earth from Jerusalem (Zech. 12 & 14; Rev. 19). …
