The result of the course: to be able to speak English, use professional lexis and understand customer needs.
Duration of the course: 2 weeks, consists of 6 lessons. The length of each lesson is 2-3 hours. The course takes place on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays. Mondays and Fridays from 11:00 till 13:00, Wednesdays from 10:00 till 12:00.
Materials: Handouts, course books, recordings, manuals.
Focus of the course: It is focused on professional terminology, ability to use English in specific situations at a restaurant or cafe and communication with foreign customers or colleges (if you work abroad). The main language items of the course are vocabulary, essential grammar structures and speaking.
Teacher’s input: During the course the teacher will be like a helper, an assistant and facilitator of the learning process. Teacher will help to rise up interest to learn English language.
Level of control: Attendance of the lectures and tests after each topic. The final test at the end of the course.
Assessment: Formative assessment (tests), Final tests, The Certificate verifying the completion of the course.
