This review paper investigates the field of bone regeneration, through the use of biode-5 gradable polymers as a promising substitute for conventional materials such as metal plates and 6 screws. The paper presents a detailed examination of the latest advancements (2014-2024) in the 7 field of bone tissue engineering, discussing the attributes, benefits, and uses of biodegradable poly-8 mers in bone healing. By conducting a systematic examination of existing literature, the approach 9 utilized in this study included an exploration and assessment of research in the field, focusing on 10 the use of biodegradable polymers in the recovery process of bone fractures. The findings illuminate 11 the phases and mechanisms implicated in bone repair utilizing biodegradable polymers, accentuat-12 ing the importance of polymer frameworks in stimulating bone development and repairs. Addition-13 ally, the conversation emphasizes the barriers and potential research paths for improving polymer 14 degradation rates, enhancing structural durability, and evaluating the lasting effectiveness of bio-15 degradable polymer frameworks in clinical environments.
