Frankenstein
Frankenstein, written by Mary Shelley, is a tale about a creature that is not loved. Victor Frankenstein created a living being from spare parts. He ran from it when he found that it was not as he expected. He did not give the creature the love and acceptance that it needed. Love is one of the most basic human emotions and although the creature was not human he did have a strong need for it, "His jaw opened, and he muttered some inarticulate sounds, while a grin wrinkled his cheeks.
