In June of 2002, Paul, a wealthy businessman and risk taker, decided to go on a quest for the bottom of the world. He informed the Brooklyn studio literary magazine team to accompany him on the trip that he was planning to set a record by navigating his way from the Antarctic coast to the South Pole within two months.
