How pleasant it must be not to feel the pain! How gorgeous it must be not to experience fits of unbridled anger, real and true passion, complete failure and temporary mishaps! How wonderful it must be to have everything – money, power, career, in a word, fulfilment of all the plans and aspirations. And what a joy it must be to live without any kind of obligations – neither to your family nor to your friends: no ties, no bonds. And what is most important – no tears and remembrances, no memory! Therefore - no any kind of remorse, compassion or pity. Moreover, what pleasure it would be – never to grow old, never to see your face wrinkled and crumpled with the devastative blow of years! Is not the eternal youth pleasurable? Utopia, one may say with objection and start arguing that the mentioned above pleasurable advantages of unreal world never existed and are very unlikely to appear. Thanks to God if it is so! Although, the other aspect that the whole novel by Aldous Huxley “Brave New World” was devoted to, is that the world (the Reservation) slowly but steadily comes to self-annihilation. In other words, what the author ridicules in his novel, very often in contemporary life becomes evident and indisputably true.…
