a)What is phonetics? - Phonetics is the study of human
speech sounds or in another words the science of speech
sounds of a language. Today phonetics is an independent
branch of linguistics which deals with the phonetic
structure and also with the methods of representing
speech in writing.I know 5 areas or branches in which
works phoneticians:
