Recently I was visiting Belarus and I was surprised how actively they were building new roads and buildings even metro, I asked about global crisis there they said “well, we do not have a global economy but the good side of it is that we also don’t get the global crisis”.
To sum up I just want to say that the globalization is not a bad thing until we do not loose the sense of proportion in it. We are special the way we are with our own identity. If we loose it we loose the meaning of national democratic Latvia.
