Фрагмент работы

Andrew Clark, the jock, always seems to be pleasing other people; his father, his coach, his friends. They all see him as a person that he doesn't necessarily want to be. Rather than disappoint them, he chooses to become who they think he is. This creates a lot of internal anger, which shows up quite a bit during the movie. He uses his strength to intimidate the other students when he feels that he can not control the situation. When Bender launches a barrage of stupid questions to prove his point, he irritates Andrew "You ask me one more question and I'm beating the shit out of you!" tell me that was the only way to handle the situation. You can't... or you're lying, either way Andrew immediately resorts to violence to end the uncomfortable conversation. In another conversation that doesn't stay warm and fuzzy, Andrew responds with "if I lose my temper, your totaled man!" Andrew is physically threatening Bender for the second time. It is obvious that Andrew speaks to people like this often. Near the end of the movie Andrew finely admits why he is in the room with the rest of them, he says," He's like this...he's like this mindless machine that I can't even relate to anymore...'Andrew, you've got to be number one! I won't tolerate any losers in this family...Your intensity is for shit! Win. Win! WIN!!!' You son of a bitch! You know, sometimes, I wish my knee would give, and I wouldn't be able to wrestle anymore. …
