Everyday we are faced with challenges that test our faith and dig deep into our souls to build us into the unique person we are. I was always very sick as a child. I couldn't go a week without getting ill. As a result, I was too weak to play outside with other kids. At times I felt like a houseplant that was destined never to leave the room, taste the rain or play in the sun. Those rare times when I did go outside, I did not know how to approach other kids, what to say or how to act. The world was a very lonely place for me.
