Average sediment accumulation rates:

• Middle Holocene (8,6-4,2 y BP) – 0,0865 cm/yr
• Late Holocene (since 4,2 y BP until now) – 0,2121 cm/yr
These numbers were calculated by firsly, finding out the exact ages of Holocene periods. Then, using the provided text document “Lake_1_smooth_spline_ages” generated in RStudio, the corresponding years were pasted into MS where afterwards the average SAR were calulated.
