Due to high corruption make a crime and still stay unpunished is a piece of cake. Great support in this are countless gaps in Latvia’s legislative. Actually some of punishments are so soft that commiting a crime is not a big deal and in the end criminal even doesn’t feel that he has done something wrongly. So i think punishment should serve as a reform to help them regret what they have done. The main goal should be making prisoners into usefull members or our society not just punishing them. …
