There are physical and mental disadvantages. The term abortion actually refers to any premature expulsion of a human fetus. Abortion ends a pregnancy by destroying and removing the developing child. You can die from abortion. The leading cause of abortion related deaths are hemorrhage and infection. Illegal abortions are the highest form of maternal fatality.
