“The villainy you teach me I will execute, and it shall go hard but I will better the instruction.” (Act 3, scene 1, line 56) Shylock is saying that he is doing the same as Christians - Antonio - did to him but he wants it to be even worse. I dont think that he thinks that he is doing some thing wrong, Shylock thinks that he is just giving Antonio what he deserves for being rude to him and treating him so badly. And Shylock is very happy that he will finaly get his revenge “ I am very glad of it. I’ll plague him. I’ll torture him. I am glad of it.” (Act 3, scene 1, line 91) And he does not seem to have any second thoughts about it.…
