Schindler’s List is a heart touching film, directed by Steven Spielberg. For me awareness that the black-and-white picture movie is based on a true story, which is described in Thomas Keneally’s novel with the same title, was a sufficient, though not the only reason to view it with an unfailing interest.
First of all, even if you have read a book, the plot might surprise you, because of its many turning-points and highlighted details, which only cinematography can do. Of course, the main idea has stayed put. It is a story about humanity and being a human, about being afraid of death, even if it might seem the easiest and the most painless way.
