Misunderstanding occurs easily when we communicate because we make certain assumptions. We need to define the overlap in the culture of linguistic groups in order to minimize intercultural misunderstanding and as such we need to further investigate ways in which we can discover just where the similarities begin and differences end. Find similarities and work from there. With hard work, and luck, you will find common denominators and achieve a high factor of mutuality in your cross-cultural communications and organizations.
