2slide) The main aims of my presentation are:
1.To review the historical development of European Parliament.
2.To describe the institutional set – up of the European Parliament.
3.To define the European Parliament`s roles in decision making of EU.
4.To review the latest developments, achievements of European Parliament.
3slide) I would like to start my presentation with some general information about the EP.
• Most proposed laws must be approved by the European Parliament and the Council of the EU to become law. Therefore, the European Parliament is the EU's law-making body.
• Additionally, the European Parliament is the only directly elected body within the EU.
• Furthermore, the European Parliament is based in Brussels, Luxemburg, and Strasbourg. …
